The Washington Post has published the winning submissions to its yearly contest in which readers are asked to supply alternate meanings for common words.
The second most highly rated entry was a new real estate term submitted by a recent homebuyer, Fred Roven. Way to go Fred!!!
Cashtration (n.) The act of buying a house, which renders the subject financially impotent for an indefinite period.
