Zillow is the Blue Book for Real Estate Values

If you are thinking about buying a home, refinancing or selling your home, here's a new Web site from the founders of Expedia.

Zillow.com is being billed as the Kelly Blue Book of real estate. It offers free information on more than 40 million homes across the United States.

All you have to do is enter the home's address, and the site will show you how much the home is worth. If you've just updated your kitchen or added another bathroom to your home, the site will show you what your home is worth after the renovations.

The site will also show satellite views of the property and all comparable home sales in an area. Best of all, finding information on Zillow is Free, and does not require anyone to enter any personal information.

PreFab Houses Go Fab!!!

Some Assembly Required. Like the "Breezehouse" pictured, new generation, tech savy architects are delivering top quality, prefab homes to the masses.

Modular, factory built buildings are an old concept, but now deliver a new twist. The new structures are sleek, modern, loaded with windows and high-tech built-ins. They can be customized to fit your lot and lifestyle for less money than a stick built home, with the added bonus of speed and consistency.

The largest, modern prefab builders have advanced websites with slideshows, floorplans and options. Some of the better websites to visit are www.fabprefab.com, which is a link site about the industry. Individual builder sites to visit include http://www.lshomes.ca/ ; http://thedwellhomesbyempyrean.com/

The new age Prefab just might be the perfect housing option. They tend to be enviornmentally friendly, energy efficient, loaded with all the high tech conveniences and are priced from $125-$200 per square foot. In addition you can finance the new pre-fab, just like you would finance any stick built home. Best of all, once the house is standing, it is resold as any other house and there is no need to disclose that the house was factory built.
